Established in 1966, SUNY Polytechnic Institute or State University of New York is primarily a public university with different campuses in New York, Marcy and Albany. It is an essential part of the SUNY system. This institution is approved by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Previously this Albany campus was a significant component of the University of Albany and was founded in 2003.
