Under federal law, the Silicon Valley Intensive English Program (SVIEP) is allowed to enrol non-immigrant students in the F-1 visa category. To be eligible for F-1 student status in the United States, you must complete the Silicon Valley Intensive English Program's entrance standards. You can meet the requirements of the US Department of Homeland Security for the issue of a SEVIS Form I-20 Certificate of Eligibility to Non-immigrant Student by following the instructions below. The SEVIS Form I-20 allows you to apply for an F-1 Student Visa at a US Embassy and enter the US under F-1 student status.
Like most Community College-based Intensive English Programs, SVIEP does not have on-campus dormitories and does not directly arrange housing for students.
