Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is a privately owned, coeducational university focusing on teaching science, engineering, and math. It is situated in Terre Haute, Indiana. The Institute was founded in 1874, and President Robert A. Coons is presently in charge.
The undergraduate curriculum is the main priority at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, which also provides graduate study in eight different disciplines. The curriculum of the institute has a strong emphasis on engineering and the natural sciences.
The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology has approved the institute's software engineering, biomedical engineering, optical engineering, chemical engineering, and computer science (ABET) programs.
