Founded in 1975, North Island College is primarily a community college situated in Vancouver Island, British Columbia. This college has four campuses and three centres. The largest campus of this university is Comox valley, and the other three campuses are Port Alberni, Campbell River and Port Hardy.
This institution provides more than 100 courses and 80 programs in different fields such as fine arts, health care, business, university trades, trades and technical, tourism and hospitality etc. Every year nearly 4, 000 students are enrolled this year. At the Port Alberni campus, Tebo Vocational Centre is situated. On this campus, students attend various lectures in Early Childhood Care and Education, University Transfer, Nursing etc.
This college is also equipped with a library and bookstore. NIC also offers various bachelor’s diplomas, associate degrees, certificate programs etc. The only undergraduate program provided to the international students includes Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and General Marketing and Management. Besides, eligible students can also avail financial aids, scholarships and grants. Furthermore, this college offers various placement services to the candidates.
Besides, North Island College’s career central page is equipped with many resources that will allow them to crack the interviews successfully. Students can gather knowledge from top-notch faculties who are Ph.D. holders and dedicatedly support students in pursuing education. Special small class sizes provide students and lecturers to develop bonding among each other.
