Regular admission to the University is available to applicants with a cumulative high school GPA of 2.5.

Applicants who do not fulfil the above criteria may be admitted on a regular basis if they meet the following standards on a sliding scale:

ACT score of 18-20 (SAT score of 960-1050) AND GPA of 2.0 or better
Please note that Missouri Western does not require ACT or SAT exam scores for admission. All students interested in majoring in Education or Sport Management must submit ACT or SAT results in order to be accepted for those programmes. Course placement and scholarship consideration may also be based on ACT/SAT results.

Applicants who meet one of the following criteria will be granted automatic, regular admission to the University:

1.High school graduate with 2.0 GPA or higher
2.75 HiSET or higher
3.680 GED or higher (no sub score lower than 150)
4.21 ACT (1060 SAT*) or higher

Admission Process

1.You must pay the application cost once you have submitted your application.
2.Before your application can be forwarded to the related department for processing, you must submit all official transcripts, required test scores, and any additional materials specifically required for the degree programme to which you are applying (e.g., personal statement, resume, etc.) to the Office of Admissions.
3.For ALL colleges you attended and earned credit, official transcripts are necessary. This includes any dual-credit courses you've taken and/or any transfer credit hours you've earned from a college or university other than the one where you finished your undergraduate degree. Each university must provide you with a transcript.

4.You must obtain official transcripts directly from the institution(s) from where you earned credits. If at all feasible, please send these to admissions@missouriwestern.edu. All additional essential materials may be uploaded to the application portal by you.
5.Full applications, including all needed extra materials, must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of classes for the fall, spring, or summer term for which you are applying.
