One of the main reasons MSU's Master of Human Resources and Labor Relations(MHRLR) programme is regarded as one of the best in the country for HR and labour relations is their job placement and development.

A personal peer career coach and student mentorship are two of the HRLR features.
They provide tailored support and one-on-one assistance to ensure that each of their Master's students is prepared and confident when over 40 organizations come to meet, interview and recruit them for summer internships and full-time positions. Every student is assigned a personal peer career coach and a student mentor to ensure that their resume is flawless and that they are ready to shine in interviews.

Placement rate of 95–100%

MSU's curriculum typically places 95–100% of our students in summer internships averaging $32/hour and full-time jobs with current average earnings of $83,000 at or before graduation.

Enormous alumni network

MSU helps students connect with its enormous alumni network through the SHRLR lifetime networked community so that they can get the most out of their internships and early careers. HRLR alumni who are currently leaders in the field of Human Resources and Labor Relations are available to MHRLR students.
