Admission Process

Procedures for submitting an application

 

Step 1: Take all of your required exams.

First-year applicants must take one of the following exams to demonstrate language proficiency: TOEFL, IELTS, iTEP, SAT, or ACT.

Step 2: Fill out and submit your application.

International students' applications are accepted on a rolling basis by the Admission Office, with priority filing deadlines of November 1 (Early Action I), December 1 (Early Action II), and February 1 (Early Action III) (Regular Decision). A decision will not be made about a student until their paperwork is complete. So make sure you send in your application as well as all other essential documents. Once your application has been processed, we will contact you through email to inform you of any missing materials.

Step 3: Hold off on making a decision.

After obtaining all of your needed materials, MCPHS will offer an application status update within three weeks. You will be notified by email if your application is accepted.

Step 4: Confirm/Accept the Admission Offer

If you are accepted to the University and wish to enrol, you must confirm your registration by May 1st through our online deposit gateway system. If you're accepted after May 1, you'll have two weeks to confirm your enrollment. Your acceptance package will include a link to the deposit gateway.

Step 5: Fill out an I-20 application.

You will receive an email with information about the 1-20 application, visa process, and required documents.

Step 6: Get Ready for Your Visit

Make a visa interview appointment with the US embassy or consulate in your country after receiving your I-20 form for your student visa application. After you've received your visa, you should start planning your lodging, travel, and health insurance.

Step 7: Attend Orientation 

You will attend Orientation and International Student Advising Day once you arrive in the United States, where you will learn more about the university, your class schedule, and other topics.
