Kennesaw State University is one of the most prestigious public research universities in the state of Georgia. Founded in 1963 by the Georgia Board of Regents, Kennesaw State University is a leader in innovative learning with a multidisciplinary approach to higher education.
Kennesaw State University is home to over 41, 000 students and offers courses in over 150 undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees. The top programs at Kennesaw State University are Architecture and Construction Management, Humanities and Social Sciences, Business, Education, Health and Human Services, etc. Kennesaw State University has two main campuses, the Kennesaw campus, and the Marietta campus.
It is home to about 11 colleges and is the second-largest university in Georgia. KSU is a Carnegie-designed doctoral research institution, making it a part of the elite group of U.S. colleges with R1 or R2 status. It is an internationally accredited institution that has a student base from over 130 countries. Kennesaw State University is also known for its career resources, including internship offers, and on-campus positions.
