  • Obtain a bachelor's degree from a regionally approved institution or university in any academic discipline
  • Maintain a minimum undergraduate grade point average of 2.75 on a scale of 4.00

Admission Process

The application must be made in certain steps and submitted along with the following supportive documents,

 

Step1: Complete and submit the online application

  • Complete the application form to the best of your ability
  • Use your real name, not the one on your passport
  • It is critical to use the same name on all Indiana State correspondence
  • Leave this field blank if you do not have a social security number in the United States; the University will provide you with a University identification number
  • Write your address as though it were on a self-addressed envelope. Include your address (or post office box), city/US IP code, province/state/zone, postal code, and country in your message
  • Even if you are already residing in the United States, your permanent address must be your home country address while filling out your application. Do not include a friend's or relative's address in the United States

 

Step 2: Pay the application fees 

  • The application fee of $65 USD is payable to Indiana State University by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cheque, or international money order. It's worth noting that the application fee is non-refundable.

 

Step 3: Official transcripts and evaluations of credentials

 

  • We will not consider your application complete until we have all of your academic credentials
  • Upload your legitimate academic records from all secondary and post-secondary institutions outside the United States
  • If you attended a high school, college, or university in the United States, you must have your official transcript(s) forwarded directly to Indiana State University's Office of Admissions
  • A final official transcript or a school-certified copy from your non-US high school, college, or university will be required. Please fill out the academic records request form and send it to your prior school
  • These select members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services provide credential evaluation reports, which we approve (NACES)

  • The original current bank statement must be mailed directly to Indiana State University from the issuing bank

  • A copy of your passport A copy of your current I-94 card, F-1 or J-1 visa, and I-20 or DS2019 are also necessary if you are studying in the United States. If you are currently in the United States but are not studying, you must also submit a copy of your current visa
