Georgia College in Milledgeville is a state-designated public liberal arts university. Established in 1889, Georgia university is ranked 21 in regional universities South and one of America's top colleges by Forbes. Covering an area of 680 acres, Georgia college houses 5,844 undergraduates from 25 nations and five continents, offering 40 majors in areas like liberal arts, business, and science.
GC maintains a 17:1 student-faculty ratio on campus. The honours college, Dr John E. Sallstrom College, offers specialized core curriculum classes with student accommodation and one honour housing in Ben hall, the only residential hall on the Front campus.
