Situated in Washington D.C, Georgetown University is a private Jesuit research institute founded in 1789 and the country's oldest Catholic higher education institution.
Students can apply to one of the degree programs (bachelor's, master's, doctoral and certificate) and choose from over 40 undergraduate and 50 graduate disciplines, including English, Global Business, Human Science, International Politics etc.
Georgetown University has three campuses within Washington D.C: the Main Campus, Medical Center and Law Center. Furthermore, as part of a global academic initiative, the university's nine schools offer around 213 undergraduate study-abroad programs in 57 countries, including Italy and London. Some of these program types are Area Studies, Direct Matriculation, Business, Language, Nursing and Service Learning.
