Fairfield University is a private-run Catholic university situated in Fairfield, Connecticut. Fairfield is located in Fairfield County of the United States. It is considered one of the best places to live in the US with a population of 62,105. More than 5000 students enroll for admission every year. It offers various study programs for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees.
The population of international students is around 5%. Fairfield University was established in 1942 by the "Jesuits." Currently, it is run by "The Society of Jesus." It controls about five colleges and schools called the Charles F. Dolan School of Business, Mariam Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies, Fairfield School of Arts and Sciences, Graduate School of Education and Allied Professions, and the School of Engineering. Renowned subjects offered by Fairfield University are Psychology, Accounting, English, Communication, Finance, Nursing, Biology, and Marketing.
The university has spread across 200 acres which is near New York City. Hence, it has several facilities such as theatres, shopping malls, and restaurants nearby. More than 100 student clubs are present for the students.
