- Powell Hall, Carter Hall, Luntsford Apartments, West Hall, Centennial Hall, Davis Apartments, Governors Hall, Lucille Clement, Stone Hall, Buccaneer Ridge, and Buccaneer Ridge Phase 5 are among the university's 11 residence halls.
- Men's, women's, and co-ed residence halls are available to students.
- All of the rooms are air-conditioned and come with complimentary Wi-Fi and other amenities.

The atmosphere at East Tennessee State is truly welcoming. This place offers a diverse community that welcomes all. The University has a great academic environment, one where students learn to think critically, appreciate differences and understand how the world works. The staff here is knowledgeable and helpful . They are supportive of each other's point of views on everything from politics to sports and everything in between.
