The following are the minimal program-specific eligibility requirements that overseas applicants must achieve before applying to Colorado State University:


Eligibility Requirements for Undergraduates

Grade 12 in a related discipline from a recognised institution is required.

Exams with a set of questions: SAT or ACT (SAT mandatory in some courses)
Proficiency in English (either):

A minimum of 6.0 bands in IELTS Academic
Minimum total score of 72 on the TOEFL (IBT).
Minimum of 110 PTE on the Duolingo English Test (DET). A minimum overall score of 50 is required in academics.


Eligibility Requirements for Graduate Students

Basic Instruction:

Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline from a recognised university with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4
Proficiency in English (either):

A minimum of 6.5 bands on the IELTS
TOEFL: An aggregate score of 80 is required.
Minimum total score of 58 on the PTE Academic
Exams that are standardised:

GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test): This exam is required for MBA applicants.
GRE: This exam is required for MS programmes.
