  • The university does not accommodate graduate students on the Shadyside Campus
  • Each room in Chatham University's Upper Campus residence halls is supplied with a bed, desk, and dresser for each roommate. The beds, desks, dressers, couches, dining room tables with chairs and coffee tables are all included in the apartment furnishings


I am so happy with my decision to attend Chatham University. The building and grounds are beautiful, the people are friendly, the workload is manageable, and professors are available when you need them. A lot of students come from different backgrounds which makes for a very diverse community. As a student it's nice that the staff is always friendly and willing to help you out



I attended Chatham University for three years. The first year I was a transfer student, the second and third years I was a graduate student. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience there. The campus is beautiful and comfortable, the professors are knowledgeable and the staff is very friendly. It's not just an easy school it's an amazing school with competitive academics



What made me want to attend Chatham University was the strong focus on academic and social diversity. The campus is beautiful, and the faculty are impressive - they are always willing to help you find your true potential. It's a really friendly place, and I felt at home instantly...their infrastructure is impressive too; they have great housing, an amazing library, cool clubs and events
