Established in 1957, CSU Stanislaus has two campus locations: Stockton and Turlock. The one in the city of Turlock is a vast 228-acre campus, and the other is an off-campus centre at University Park in Stockton. The Princeton Review consistently ranks CSU Stanislaus among the Best Colleges in the nation. This distinction is awarded to only 15% of universities and colleges throughout the US.

Internships

 

At California State University, Stanislaus, an internship is one of a student's most significant learning experiences. Students can use what they've learned in class to apply what they've learned in the internship, create critical networking and reference relationships, confirm (or deny) career plans, and improve their resumes and portfolios, all of which are important for the future success. Internships with advertising agencies, public relations firms, insurance companies, hospitals, non-profit organisations, pharmaceutical companies, event management firms, radio and television stations, counties, chambers of commerce, human resource departments, consulting firms, politicians, and more have been completed by Communication Studies students at CSU, Stanislaus. There is a slew of internship possibilities to choose from.

 

An internship is not the same as working part-time. Internships provide students with professional learning opportunities through focused observation and practical activities. Every internship is jointly supervised by the Department of Communication Studies Internship Coordinator and representatives from the cooperating organisation.

The Residential Life Village is Stanislaus State's sole on-campus student housing complex. Everything we do is motivated by our desire to see you succeed academically and socially.
