  • Incorporated in 2002, California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) is a public university and the youngest in the CSU family. The Accrediting Commission accredits it for Senior Colleges and Universities of the WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges).

  • An applicant must have an advanced degree or a 2.5 cumulative GPA in their baccalaureate degree or a 2.5 GPA in the previous 60 semesters or 90 quarter units they attempted, omitting any lower-division and extension coursework
  • If they are completing a baccalaureate degree, applicants with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 or at least 2.5 GPA in their last 60 semesters or 90 quarter units are admitted provisionally; this can only happen if they can present documentation of degree completion
