John Baldwin, a Methodist representative, founded the university in 1845 as Baldwin Institute. Baldwin Wallace holds classes at Corporate College East, a part of Cuyahoga Community College in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, and its main location in Berea.

These majors result in either a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Education, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music in Education, or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing for undergraduate studies.
