Undergraduate Requirement


You usually need to possess one of the following to be admitted to Year 1 of a Bachelor's degree (Level 4).

  • HSC XII: Boards from the CBSE, ICSE, Kolkata, or Tamil Nadu with a global average of at least 70%
  • HSC XII: West Bengal board with a cumulative average of at least 58%
  • HSC XII: Gujarat or Maharashtra boards with a cumulative average of at least 75%
  • HSC XII: All other state examinations with a cumulative average of 80% or higher
  • A recognized international foundation program offered by a UK school or an Indian school using an approved UK curriculum. Although there are different entry requirements, we typically request between 60% and 65%


Postgraduate Requirement


Typically, you'll require one of the following:

  • 3-year Bachelor's degree with honors from an accredited institution that must have a minimum grade point average (CGPA) of 6.0 out of 10.0 or an overall average of at least 55%
  • A three-year Bachelor's degree in science from an approved institution, with a minimum overall grade point average (CGPA) of 6.5 out of 10, depending on the institution, of 58%
  • A 4-year Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology from an accredited institution with a minimum overall average of 55% or a CGPA of 6.0 out of 10.0, depending on the institution

Admission Process

The application deadline for the fall semester(which starts in September) was the 1st of May. The application deadline for the spring semester(which begins in January) is the 15th of October.

Undergraduate Candidate:


To begin your application, register at www.ucas.com/apply, fill out your personal information, choose a username, make a password, and establish your security questions. Step 1: Log in to complete the remainder of your information.

Step 2: Choose a course of study

  • You have a maximum of five-course options. There is no preference list, and the colleges you have picked won't be able to see where else you have applied.
  • You may only apply to a maximum of four courses in any of the following: Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, or Veterinary Science.


Step 3: Complete education background

  • Whether you have the result or are still expecting exams and results, you must input all of your qualifications.
  • You must still include any outstanding qualifications in your application if they are not published on ucas.com.
  • International students: If your qualifications are not included, add them to the "Other" box. Qualifications are listed by name and country for international students. You might need to submit the university or college documentation of your grades.
  • Contact the school and local administration if you cannot find your school examination certificates.


Step 4: Your professional background

  • You must input information for up to five of your prior occupations, including the names of the employers, their addresses, the nature of the work, and the start and end dates, whether they were full-time or part-time.


Step 5: Write a personal statement.


Step 6: Payment and Reference

  • If you're applying to one course only, the price is £20; if you're applying to numerous courses, it's £26.
