By collaborating with employers and community organisations to develop skills needed for self-employment or working in the company, UWTSD provides a variety of entrepreneurship and employability enhancement options for students. In addition, many UWTSD academic courses feature work-based learning or live projects in which students are obliged to collaborate with external organisations as part of their studies. Many programmes provide a 'Year in Industry' opportunity.
