Choosing a place to live may be thrilling and anxiety-provoking, especially if it's your first time living away from home. But going to school can help you relax. You'll feel more at home the instant you arrive if you find the correct lodging. Additionally, a variety of privately run and university-managed choices are available, both on and off-campus, in several places, including Bristol, Cheltenham, Gloucester, and Newport.

  • 12 residence halls are available for on-campus housing at the University of the West of England
  • Additionally, some students choose to live off-campus in private rented housing in Bristol. Only postgraduate and second- or final-year students are eligible for this option
  • The University provides alternatives for both conventional and en-suite rooms

University-managed accommodation:

Every year on June 10th, applications for university-managed housing alternatives become available.

You will be qualified to begin applying for your accommodations as soon as you accept your offer. Starting on March 21st of each year, you can register for an account on our accommodation platform.

The UCAS deadline will come when allocations are finalised. From mid-June, you can anticipate hearing from the institution regarding your allocation.

Private accommodation:

If an agency rents a four-bedroom home, they most likely want to rent it to a large group rather than a single person.

Make sure you know where the property is and that it has decent transportation options because, in an ideal world, you would like to live close to the college where you would be studying.

Send your leasing agreement to the Students' Union Advice Center through email so we can review it before you sign it.
