  • The University of Stirling is a public university located in the Scottish city of Stirling. The university was founded in 1967, becoming the first university to be opened in the 20th century in Scotland. The university has five schools and a separate graduate school. Together, they offer numerous programs for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies. 
  • The top courses at the University of Stirling include MSc in Business and Management, BSc in Computing Science and MSc in International Accounting and Finance. The university has a single campus located within the estate of the Airthrey Castle. It is considered one of the most beautiful campuses in the world thanks to its scenic setting and location below the Ochil Hills. The campus has numerous infrastructure across the campus to serve the academic requirements of students. 
  • Facilities include the Robbin's Centre Student's Union and MacRobert Arts Centre. The library offers students with the latest academic literature from various sources around the world. The library is home to the Postgraduate Research Zone and Institute of Advanced Study. The annual tuition fee for international students varies between GBP 17,000 - GBP 21,000. The university is home to a multicultural and vibrant student community. 
  • Students can join over 60 student clubs and associations on campus, promoting holistic development and networking outside of academics. The university is designated as Scotland's University for Sporting Excellence by the government. It has one of the best sports programs in the United Kingdom, with world class facilities allowing athletes to train for international events. 
  • The main sports on campus are football, swimming and triathlon amongst others. Notable alumni to have graduated from the University of Stirling include Olympic swimmer Craig Benson, former Home Secretary John Reid and Sir Alex Ferguson, the former manager of Manchester United FC.
