The Kingston Technical Institute, Kingston University London, gained university status in 1992. Comprising four schools, namely The Kingston School of Art, the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Computing, the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education, and various research centres and institutes. More than 130 undergraduate and 200 postgraduate programs are offered, amongst which MBA, Computer Science, Engineering, Arts, Business and Marketing are the top courses.
Admissions take place through the UCAS portal for undergraduates with an application fee of 20-25 GBP. Previous academic transcripts resume, LORs, English Language Proficiency tests scores and program-specific documents are also to be submitted.
The average tuition fee ranges from 15,300-23,500 GBP, for which scholarships worth 5,000 GBP are awarded to international students. On-campus accommodation in 5 residential halls, namely Walkden hall, 75 Penrhyn Road, Clayhill hall, Middle Mill hall and Seething Wells hall having 2,005 fully-furnished rooms at 536-1,320 GBP per month, is provided.
The amenities available include electricity, hot water, laundry, free bus service inside campus, car and bike parking, Wi-Fi and security. The Union of Kingston Students, the student government, looks after student affairs and consists of more than 90 clubs and societies and 40 sports clubs.
Around 95% of Kingston University London graduates secure well-paid jobs within six months of graduation with an average annual salary of 32,584 GBP. The Executive MBA program places students in annual packages of 92,800 GBP.
