Off-Campus Accommodation:

The Students' Union offers SU Homes, a property-finding service that specialises in assisting students in finding local, private housing. Rooms in shared houses, resident landlords, letting a complete property, and purpose-built student housing are all possibilities. SU Homes does not charge any administrative costs, and your money is maintained in a government-approved deposit plan. Colchester Borough Council has recognised all of the properties they operate within Colchester. Before granting a tenancy agreement in private housing, all landlords must verify that your immigration status allows you to rent in the UK. Finding a place to live might be difficult, but it's also exhilarating to be self-sufficient and live with your friends, taking advantage of the chances that await you. The goal of the university is to make the process of selecting a house as simple as possible. From locating the property that will become your home to signing the contract and moving in, the University can assist you at every step of the way.
