Undergraduate Degrees


Standard XII must be completed with a minimum of:

  • 60% (for ICSE, CBSE, ISC, and West Bengal Boards)
  • 70% (for all other boards)


  • A recognised foundation course must be completed.


  • IELTS band score of 6.0 or higher overall, with no less than 5.5 in any of the 'academic' IELTS components.
  • Academic transfers to RAU are allowed in Years 2 and 3.


Bachelor's degree

In 1842, the Fairford and Cirencester Farmers' Club held a conference when the formation of the Royal Agricultural College was first proposed. The college officially started operations in 1845 with only 25 pupils thanks to Queen Victoria's Royal Charter. It was given university status in 2013 and given its current name. In the heart of Cirencester, RAU boasts a stunning 25-acre campus encircled by the Cotswolds' undulating hills.

There are 11 on-campus resident halls where the institution offers housing for its students, with both catered and self-catered options. The site also offers a chapel, a health center, counseling, IT services, and various dining options. The restaurant serves various meals and beverages and is the main campus dining hall.
