Founded in 2003, MetFilm School is a private film school in London comprising MetFilm school, MetFilm Production, Metfilm Sales, MetFilm Features, and Screen Space. The cutting-edge premises and offices are situated inside the world-renowned Ealing Studios in West London.
MetFilm School is at two locations: in Berlin and London and provides students with the industry-standard camera, lighting, and sound equipment used for personal and school projects. The school offers a multipurpose area for workshops, lectures, and student production with complete working sets.
The school offers undergraduate courses in BA practical postgraduate courses in Directing, Screenwriting, Producing, Cinematography, Post-production, and Documentary and Factual. The college also provides certificates for one-year, part-time, and short courses in Arts, design, and Architecture in 41 subjects, Journalism and Media in 37 subjects, and Humanities.
The young people course offered by MetFilm is ideal for 14-17-year-olds. The college provides weekend courses, too. The course fee ranges between EUR 15,000 to EUR 25,000 annually. The school has different offices, including a 2,000 sq. foot film stage, two instructing blocks in addition to a different studio space, more than 100 Apple Macintosh workstations, and a huge understudy standard after-creation room.
It also offers a filmmaking kit including high-end digital cameras, sound recording kit, TV studio vision mixing, post-production suites, and much more. The MetFilm school has partnered with Central Studios Ealing for the accommodation of students. In addition, the school aims to provide support for those interested in pursuing higher education.
It offers students accredited courses and voluntary online courses in the language of filmmaking through a virtual learning environment. MetFilm School is the first school in the UK to have an employment support team by connecting students to various opportunities within the screen industry. Also, various scholarships are offered to international students with the filmmakers to be exceptional filmmakers.
