- Situated in Aberystwyth, Wales, Aberystwyth University is a public research institute that was established in 1872. Three faculties, namely the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of Earth and Life Sciences and Faculty of Business and Physical Sciences, offer several undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Some courses are Art History, Media and Communication Studies, Tourism Management and Zoology. There are two Aberystwyth University campuses; the Penglais campus and the Llanbadarn campus, and a research centre called the Gogerddan campus.

XIIth Standard Certificate from a nationally or state-recognized governing body: In year XII Std., 75% of students passed. In addition to the following, some courses may have subject-specific requirements.
Language: English
If given by CBSE or CISCE central boards, or West Bengal, Karnataka, and Maharashtra state boards within 5 years of the intended course start date, a minimum of 70% in English at Year XII standard level is required.
Alternatively, applicants must show proof of an IELTS or comparable recognised exam with an overall score of 6.0–6.5 or above, as well as meet certain minimum component criteria based on the course requested for.
