Admission Process

The steps to apply for an international student is as below: 
 

  1. Fill out the online application on EPBC website and pay the application fee of $100. 
  2. Go through the requirements carefully and upload the necessary documents. Any missing document will cause the application to be rejected.
  3. Within a week, you will receive a conditional offer.
  4. To confirm your acceptance, you must pay the fee and courier your original transcripts to the international office.
  5. Soon enough, a final admission letter will reach you confirming your seat at the university.

Accommodation

TRU has four options under on-campus accommodation. 

  • The North Tower: TRU's 11-story residential tower houses 570 students and has some of the nicest views.
  • McGill Residence: On the south edge of campus, this dorm-style housing seats 302 students in four-bedroom quads.
  • East Village: A 250-bed apartment-style housing mixes on- and off-campus living. Available in furnished two-bedroom or four-bedroom units.
  • West Gate Dormitories: A dorm-style housing with 114 self-contained private units on the southwest side of campus.

 

The apartments are fully-furnished and have a bed, television, and high-speed internet. There are also study lounges and a larger kitchen area on some floors.  Social events are conducted regularly to build a community spirit among the residents. These fun activities are designed to relax and make you feel at home. 
 

You may reserve a room at these apartments in one of two ways. Please be aware that with either choice, your accommodation won't be guaranteed or confirmed until you hear from them.

Those who prefer to stay off campus can easily find student-friendly, fully-furnished housing around the campus. The average cost is between 1050 and 1150 CAD.
