Later in 2012, SELC extended by opening a campus for SELC Vancouver, Canada, with its primary focus on providing education that will assist the aspirant towards a meaningful career.
  • SELC Career College Vancouver is situated in Water Street, Vancouver, BC, Canada, and offers a career college program, ESL program, and BCIT Pathway. BCIT Pathway is designed for students who want to pursue their career in business, take up the role of an entrepreneur or be a manager in their respective career choice. SELC College and British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), in partnership with each other, formed the SELC College-BCIT Pathway. It is a cross-institutional agreement facilitating SELC college graduates to move to BCIT's School of Business, helping them scale new heights in life. 
  • The college offers an FDU pathway along with giving ESL program facilities, a 4-week program, offering electives and workshops to students from various parts of the world to fine-tune their language level. SELC Career College Vancouver also hosts a Hospitality Management Diploma Program and certificate program in the Business Foundation, allowing the student to develop insight on service and operational issues, understand the hospitality industry's competitive edge, and cultivate business management skills.

Eligibility & Documents Required

 

International applicants must ensure to meet the following criteria before applying to any full-time program at Selkirk College:

  • Basic education
  • Age/maturity
  • Standardized exams
  • English proficiency

1. Basic Education:

  • Applicant must be a high-school graduate from a recognized educational board
  • Mandatory Mathematics score of 60% aggregate or above for some courses

2. Age/Maturity: Be at least 18 years old at the time of application

3. Standardized Exams: SAT, ACT, GRE, EMAT (not required)

4. English Proficiency:

Selkirk has specified the following exams and scores for all undergraduate and postgraduate applicants from non-English-speaking countries. These vary depending upon the course requirements:
