Homestay

Students participating in the Homestay programme live with a host family for a specified amount of time, providing a chance for cross-cultural engagement between Canadians and international students. They are assisted in adjusting to life in Canada by host families, who also gain knowledge of various nations and cultures. Students receive more chances to use their English and understand Canadian customs, values, and ways of life. Living with a host family is an effective strategy for studying and using English. The residence could be a townhouse, an apartment, or a house. Typically, a bus ride will take you from home to the school in less than 30 minutes. Families that are eager to help international students acclimate to Canadian society and who have an interest in different cultures are chosen as host families. A family with children, a family without children, or a lone individual may serve as the host family.
