  • New York Institute of Technology, or New York Tech, was established in 1955. MSCHE accredits this institute and holds affiliation with NAICU. AACSB International recognises the institute’s School of Management. It has five campuses – New York, Jonesboro, Long Island, Vancouver, and China. Vancouver as a city is among the top three cities in the world to reside.

The eligibility criteria for applicants are as follows : 

 

  • A bachelor's degree or its equivalent in computer science, engineering, management, mathematics, information technology, liberal arts, and allied fields from an approved institution or university.
    • An accredited programme is one that has been approved by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology if you have a degree in engineering (ABET).
    • An accredited programme is one taken at an institution that is regionally accredited, such as the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, if you have finished degrees in computer science or a closely related discipline.
    • If you have an international baccalaureate degree or diploma in computer science, engineering, or a related field that is comparable to three years of undergraduate study in the United States, you may be qualified for a bridge option in your desired graduate programme.

 

  • For full matriculation, a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.85 is required.
    • You may be allowed at the dean's discretion if you do not meet this condition. Scores on the Graduate Record Examination or other diagnostic examinations to aid in the evaluation of your credentials are also considered. Your records may be released after you have completed nine graduate credits and met all pre-curriculum prerequisites.

 

  • GRE scores must be submitted.
    • Foreign university graduates are required to take the GRE and submit their results.
    • If your GPA is less than 2.85, you may be requested to take the GRE or other diagnostic tests at the dean's discretion. Test results, previous academic performance, and relevant employment, if appropriate, will all be taken into account when determining admission.
