It is affiliated with the Career Colleges Ontario (CCO) and National Association of Career Colleges (NACC). IBT College is a Designated Learning Institution (DLI). - Since 2001, this college has been a reference for students seeking 6 months or 1-year certificates and diploma programs in Flight Attendant, Information Technology, Business, Travel & Tourism, and Health Care. IBT was the first college in Ontario to provide an entirely Ministry-approved Flight Attendant Program. For their Travel & Tourism Diploma Program, IBT is recognized by the CITC (Canadian Institute of Travel Counselors; now part of ACTA - the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies).

Important: To apply for a programme at IBT College, you must be at least 18 years old.
- Passport photocopy (page with photo and date of birth).
- English proficiency must be demonstrated. You may be excluded from taking an English test depending on where you are from.
- IBT College's Admission Test was passed with flying colours.
- We will review the supporting papers specified in Step 1 and send you a pre-acceptance letter (PAL) within 2 business days if everything is in order.
- The PAL will include precise directions on how to finish your registration so that we may send you an acceptance packet.
- You should receive your acceptance packet within 2 working days after paying the registration money and following the instructions outlined on your PAL.
- The acceptance package includes all of the paperwork you'll need to submit with your study permit application to Immigration Canada. The following documents are included in your package:
- Acceptance letter in writing.
- Letter of Cooperation (if applicable).
- Payment receipt (regarding the registration fee).
- Acceptance Letter for the ESL Pathway (if applicable)
- After your study permission has been approved, you will be invited to meet with our Student Services Coordinator to sign your enrollment contract.
- You will be needed to submit the following during that session:
- VISA for students and workers
- Medical insurance is valid.
Once you've acquired your study permission, one of your first tasks should be to find a place to reside. We strongly advise all students to begin looking for accommodation as soon as possible, and to consider moving in two to three weeks before classes begin so that you have time to settle in.
