New Westminster - Canada
  • Douglas College is a public college established in 1970 and named after former British Governor of British Columbia, Sir James Douglas. The College is in a study-friendly environment in British Columbia, Canada. The College is affiliated with ACCC, CBIE and CUP. There are three major campuses in Metro Vancouver, two in New Westminster and one in Coquitlam. There is also a Training Centre campus in Surrey.
  • The remarkable point of this College is that they provide a solid academic base with career-ready skills, making them ready for placements. The College offers 13 Bachelor's Degrees, arts and science courses, and other career programs in creative arts, human services, business and health care. Students can either choose to complete their programs part-time or full-time, self-paced and partially online.

If students meet the criteria the College sets, they are also provided scholarships, bursaries, fee waivers, and work-study programs. Unfortunately, the College has no facilities to live on-campus students. However, with the help of First Choice International Placement, a homestay placement service for international students, they can explore the culture and lifestyle of the residents in the city.
  • The Douglas Open Repository has a collection of research and creative assets of the College. Like how the College provides academic enrichment to the students, they also explore students' extracurricular skills through the Indigenous Collective program or the Pride Collective Program. Students also participate in various intercollegiate sports competitions.
  • Some of the popular courses in this College are History, Sports Management, Human Resource Management, Sales and Marketing, Banking and Finance, Political and Social Sciences, Digital Communications and Multimedia, and Optical Science.
