Course Ranking

The California Institute of Technology offers a number of engineering-related courses for those interested. Caltech's engineering programmes are acknowledged by well-known rating agencies. Since 2017, THE (Times Higher Education) has ranked it among the top 10 courses. However, it has fallen from the top spot in 2020 to the seventh spot in 2021. In addition, it was ranked among the top 50 programmes by QS from 2017 to 2020 for Engineering and Technology. Caltech's QS ranking has significantly increased. It was ranked 26th in 2018, but by 2020 it has advanced 12 spots to take the 14th spot.
 

In addition, many of Caltech's engineering programmes were included among the top 10 programmes by US News & World Report. Since 2018, US News has ranked its postgraduate Computer Engineering programmes among the top 10 worldwide, and THE (Times Higher Education) has ranked them in the top 25. THE has pushed Caltech from second rank in 2017 to 25th place in 2021, focusing on citations, teaching, and research.
