  • Edith Cowan University (ECU), established in 1991, is named after the first woman elected to an Australian Parliament. The public university in Perth, Western Australia, ranks among the top 2.5% of universities in the world. Joondalup campus, Mount Lawley campus and Southwest campus are the three campuses having 30,000 students. 
  • Bunbury campus happens to be the largest campus of ECU outside the metropolitan area. There are 219 full-time, 205 part-time and 125 online courses in 119 undergraduate and 113 postgraduate programs in arts, Humanities, Business, Law, Education, Medical Sciences, Engineering, Nursing and Midwifery.

  •  The average tuition fee ranges from 14,450 AUD to 20,025 AUD per semester depending upon the program. Financial aid in the form of need-based scholarships like ECU Excellence Scholarship worth 20,000 AUD and merit-based scholarships like ECU Vice-Chancellor's Aboriginal Scholarship and ECU South West Campus Scholarship are awarded. 
  • On-campus accommodation at the ECU Village in single and shared rooms with self-catering facilities is provided in all three campuses. International students find rooms in Joondalup at 195 - 320 AUD while the rent is 170- 240 AUD for Mount Lawley. Wi-Fi, computer labs, open-access libraries, barbecue area, coin-operated laundry system, outdoor courtyards, parking, lounge and TV are some amenities available. The employment rate of nearly 63%, accompanied by a moderate acceptance rate, helps graduates of Edith Cowan land with well-paid jobs having an average package of 60,000 AUD.
