I, along with my family, went on a car journey to Chittorgarh, which is near Udaipur. We went there to attend my uncle's wedding. While our primary reason to go there was to attend the wedding, on our way back, we decided to go to multiple temples. The visit to these temples was really calming. On the way back, I also had fever and was driving with the fever. It was quite tiring as well. I remember one thing that stood out was that the drivers in India were rarely following rules, even on the highway. Everyone was speeding past us. The speed limit was 120 kmph. However, most of the drivers were not following it and cruising at an astounding speed of greater than 140 kmph. While visiting a temple, on our way back, we went through a toll which was supposed to be closed and not working as the toll should have been collected years ago. But the guys there were collecting toll illegally and it also hit our car. When I decided to confront them, they grouped up and

Follow up questions

What was the most memorable part of the wedding you attended?
The most memorable part of the wedding was the vibrant celebrations and the traditional rituals. I enjoyed the music, dance performances, and the delicious food. It was a great opportunity to reconnect with family members I hadn't seen in a long time, making the experience even more special.

How do you feel about driving in India compared to other countries?
Driving in India can be quite chaotic compared to other countries. The lack of adherence to traffic rules can be stressful, and the aggressive driving style is something I had to adapt to. In contrast, driving in countries with strict traffic regulations feels much safer and more organized.

What do you think could improve road safety in India?
Improving road safety in India could involve stricter enforcement of traffic laws, better driver education, and public awareness campaigns. Additionally, enhancing road infrastructure and ensuring regular maintenance of highways could significantly reduce accidents and improve overall safety for drivers and passengers.

The last long journey I went last year along with my family to Kashmir. I am residing in central of India and Kashmir is in the northern part of my country. Kashmir is such a beautiful place it got a title of heaven on earth and it is something very beautiful and interesting. I went there along with my daughter to make her view the scenery there and she felt ecstatic after going there. Also when we went there I have given her some money to spend and what I observed I was expecting that she is going to be fairly frugal in spending but she spent all her money like extravagant and although it gives her some happiness Kashmir is a place which should be visited by a person once in a life This is a place which is totally different from other cities. It is having beautiful hills and even the grass are like a carpet grass and it's totally out of the world. Our journey is very long. First we took a train. We reached Delhi, a capital of India. From there we boarded a flight to Jammu and Kashmir. It's a capital of the city. And that's it. It was a beautiful experience.

Last summer, I got a chance to go to Rajasthan as one of my friends who lives abroad came for a visit and relax for a little time and we went to Rajasthan for that and we were three friends, one was Nitesh and the other one is Anmol and we booked a cab for us to go there and we went through a car named Kia Sonet and it was an ordinary car but we enjoyed it a lot because the thing which matters the most is the people who are around you and we were going to Udaipur. In the way, I saw a lot of scenic beauty, Rajasthan's landscape is so amazing, we tried folk food also which was very delicious and we stopped in a dhaba where we found people who were dancing in Rajasthani traditional wares and it almost rained there when we were there traveling and the experience was so amazing, we can see the mustard farms also right behind the mountains which was mesmerizing for my eyes and also I would like to go there again.

One of the best and longest car journeys I have been on is from Pune to a town in the state of Karnataka in India called Manipal. This town is where I used to study in my college. I had come back to home in Pune and my mother and my father decided that we should go to Manipal in a car. This journey is a total of 800 km. We left Pune at around 6 am in the morning. We travelled for around 100 km, 3 hours and we took our first break. This was our breakfast break in Solapur. We left that, we went to Kolhapur where we had lunch. From Kolhapur, we decided that we will take a stop in Goa which comes in the road and we will stay in Goa for the whole night. In Goa, me, my mother and my father, all three of us absolutely enjoyed it. We stayed there for the night. Next day morning at around 8 o'clock, we left Goa. After leaving Goa, we came to the Karnataka and Goa border where they had to check our car for any liquor we were smuggling because that is what their procedure says. These SOPs have been set in Indian states for stopping smuggling of drugs and alcohol as many people do that nowadays. After we got cleared of the border checking patrol, we went down towards Karwar. We took a halt in Karwar. We had breakfast in Karwar. Karwar is a place right at the coast of Karnataka towards the Arabian Sea and this place is extremely famous for their food. From Karwar, we left, we came to Manipal by 12 o'clock in the afternoon and this journey is something I will never forget in my life.

I was in a 12 board holidays. I used to travel a lot. So we planned to go to Karnataka as a family trip. We used a car to travel there. That journey was really amazing. We used to see a lot of new cultures and places and tasted a lot of new food. These things helped me to explore more in the future and we reached all the spots through car. Well, there will be so much of sleeps and slopes in the mountain range areas that really scared me a lot. During night times it was really a nightmare for me to travel in a car actually. So when I was traveling in a car, we have to be very safe while traveling in the night.

The longest car journey I went on is from Ermakulam to Kannur, which is like a six hour long drive. I went there with my family, that involves my mom, dad and two younger sisters. I went there because we have relatives over there, all my cousins are there. We do some fun activities like swimming, roaming around in the rubber trees. We play many games and also eat yummy food, relatively good food. We also eat that. It was very interesting. My family is away from them, we have a six hour gap between us. We meet only once a year or twice a year. The time we spend, we utilise the most.

I went to Trivandrum last year with my companion, my friend and we went there for having a vacation and I feel like I went to a place where I feel like home and it feels so refreshing. It was like a long-term journey that I was expecting for. The experience of that car journey was totally different from using a public transport or something. I usually use bicycles rather than scooter or something. But rather than using a bicycle, the car drive or the car trip was actually good and the place we went were extraordinary. It's like a smooth, silky surface of earth filled with top-layered grasses and I feel so cool and a kind of refreshment feeling when I go there. With my friend, he was also experiencing the same thing as mine. So, that was a place I have never been before and also it felt like a home for me.
