Yorkville University is a for-profit private educational institution in Canada. It was established in 2003. It has several campuses across the country, which includes the west coast campus of Yorkville University – Vancouver. The institution also has partnerships with numerous universities, colleges, and organisations, including the Royal Bridge College, McKenzie College, Bishop’s University, and Toronto Film School, among others.
Yorkville University – Vancouver offers an on-campus program for undergraduate studies in Business Administration. The Bachelor of Business Administration or BBA degree provides one with the knowledge and skills that present-day employers value.
Students can either choose a general degree that does not include any specialisation or opt for specialisation in Accounting, Project Management, Energy Management, and Supply Chain Management. The rigorous curriculum of this course covers a variety of core business functions, such as strategy, leadership, operations, accounting, and marketing, thereby preparing one for on-the-job challenges.
It also provides a number of bursaries and scholarships to students, such as The Jacob Markovitz Memorial Scholarship, United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) Bursary, etc. This institution also extends a UPS Partnership program which allows students to earn their degree while they work. Under this program, students can receive a special bursary, along with fee waivers and more flexible tuition payment options.
To ease tuition payment for students, Yorkville University – Vancouver extends financial aid in the form of the Canada Student Loans Program, Student Line of Credit, Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP), and the Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP). The university extends students an opportunity to earn perquisites towards applying to become a Professional Project Manager, Chartered Professional Accountant, and other career prospects.
