The Ministry of Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities funds and accredits Mohawk College. It is a public college and a member of the Association of Community Colleges of Canada. It has three main campuses – Ontario, Canada and Hamilton. The college is one of the largest trainers in Ontario, training around 2,900+ apprenticeship students annually.
This campus covers approximately 36 programs. Mohawk College Stoney Creek programs include – Auto Body & Collision Damage Repairer, Construction Engineering Technician, Construction Techniques, Welder, Electrician (Construction & Maintenance) etc. Apart from these, there are approximately 146 continuing education programs available on campus. These include – courses on Accessible Media Production, Air Brake Training, etc. It also has an Apprenticeship Community Hub, which connects with employers and works towards building a skilled workforce.
Mohawk's Marshall School of Skilled Trades & Apprenticeship is equipped with advanced facilities and experienced faculties to provide in-school job training. After completing this apprenticeship training, students will earn an Ontario College certificate. The Mohawk College also offers off-campus housing accommodation. It has invested around $3 million+ in bursaries and scholarships over the years. This college provides financial literacy through Mo' Money Resource Centre.
