  • The Ministry of Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities funds and accredits Mohawk College. It is a public college and a member of the Association of Community Colleges of Canada. It has three main campuses – Ontario, Canada and Hamilton. The college is one of the largest trainers in Ontario, training around 2,900+ apprenticeship students annually. 
  • This campus covers approximately 36 programs. Mohawk College Stoney Creek programs include – Auto Body & Collision Damage Repairer, Construction Engineering Technician, Construction Techniques, Welder, Electrician (Construction & Maintenance) etc. Apart from these, there are approximately 146 continuing education programs available on campus. These include – courses on Accessible Media Production, Air Brake Training, etc. It also has an Apprenticeship Community Hub, which connects with employers and works towards building a skilled workforce. 
  • Mohawk's Marshall School of Skilled Trades & Apprenticeship is equipped with advanced facilities and experienced faculties to provide in-school job training. After completing this apprenticeship training, students will earn an Ontario College certificate. The Mohawk College also offers off-campus housing accommodation. It has invested around $3 million+ in bursaries and scholarships over the years. This college provides financial literacy through Mo' Money Resource Centre. 
  • According to Webometrics, Mohawk College ranking is 88th(in Canada). It has earned over 25 awards as a leader in sustainability, including the recent one as Canada's Greenest Employers in 2021. It was also among the "Top 3 Performers" in North America in AASHE Campus Sustainability Index (2020). Nearly 86% of graduates find jobs in their respective education fields within the 6 months of graduation. 
  • The Mohawk College offers a CareerReady portal where students can find seasonal full-time, part-time jobs or schedule an appointment for career assistance. Mohawk College Alumni Association allows one to remain in touch with the instructor and former classmate for any career-related help.

Undergraduate Admissions at Mohawk College

Two bachelor's degrees are available at Mohawk College:

  • Bachelor of Science in Technology (B.Tech.)
  • Nursing Bachelor of Science


Requirements in the classroom:

  • Transcripts from your high school (secondary school) and higher education institute, translated and notarized
  • IELTS / TOEFL official score
  • Biology and chemistry are required for BscN, and mathematics is required for B.Tech.
