Mohawk College was established in 1966 in a government-funded college in Canada. The Mohawk College Fennell Campus is the largest among its other campuses and is located in Hamilton, Ontario. Mohawk College is a member of the Association of Community Colleges of Canada and is fully funded by the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities.
The Mohawk College faculty is dynamic and teaches 160 programs with specialities in technology, healthcare, skill trades, business, etc. It also offers graduate programs which include programs like Autism and Behavioral Science, Business Analysis, Cyber Security Analytics, Global Business Management, Public Relations, Supply Chain Management, Creative Arts Business and others. Mohawk College also offers programs on Continuing Education on Parental Support Worker and Cyber Security Analytics. Mohawk College has about 4,000 international students from 90 countries.
Students can also apply for Mohawk College financial aid as scholarships, awards and bursaries. Apart from this, the Ontario Student Assistance Program or OSAP is a financial aid program for students and is a mix of grants and loans. Scholarship, Pink Pearl Foundation, Pain Care Clinics Medical Scholarship and others. Apart from on-campus courses, it also offers online courses for both national and international students.
These programs are Advanced Diplomas, Diplomas, Certificates, Graduate Certificates, and Nursing. Among those, Diploma in Business, Diploma in Computer System Technician – Software Support and Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology – Transportation are full-time programs.
Mohawk College Fennell also ranked No.1 continuously for 5 times in the graduate employability rate in the Hamilton and Greater Toronto Area. Some notable alumni include Gary Nelson, Ted Rakoczy, Joal Roshko and Luke Johns.
