You must be at least 18 years old and pass an admissions test that has been approved by the superintendent.
If you're a Mentora College student, you'll complete a 384-hour work placement during your final semester. Although it is essential in order to receive your advanced diploma, we have never heard a student complain about it! Work placements are with companies in the Toronto area that are interested in learning more about what you learned in school. You can work toward a diploma on the same campus in downtown Toronto once you finish your English studies!
Students should book their lodgings well in advance of their arrival, since all available accommodations fill up rapidly, especially before the semester begins.
Off-campus rental housing options include single homes, duplexes, apartments, and rooms for rent in the surrounding region. Students who choose to live off-campus must conduct their own research and arrive well before the start of the semester to do so.
There are many different types of homestays to choose from, and our partners try their best to connect students with hosts based on their interests and preferences. Singles, young couples with children and pets, and elderly couples are among the homestay hosts.
