  • Mentora College of Business and Technology is a post-secondary initiative of BAU Global and a business career college based in Toronto. This institute provides diploma programs in Hotel Management and Business Administration Management. It focuses on delivering interactive and project-based learning in its classes that currently feature a maximum of 14 students. Every program offered at this institute consists of a 384-hour supervised practicum for ensuring a real-world, hands-on learning experience. 
  • Students can opt for a Diploma in Business Administration Management or a Diploma in Hotel Management from this institute. This institute also houses an ESL school - Mentora Language Academy Toronto. It is also a member of the BAU Global Network. Mentora also holds a program pathway agreement with one of the leading public colleges of Ontario - Georgian College. 
  • The diploma program credits of this college can be transferred to Georgian College. Students looking for Mentora College of Business and Technology admission criteria must note that they need to possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent. Plus, they should be at least 18 years old, and pass a qualifying test that is approved by the Superintendent of Private Career Colleges. 
  • Besides these, international candidates should get a minimum score of 5.5 on the IELTS English language test. Both the Diploma programs at Mentora College of Business and Technology provide work placements. The work placement team at this institute supervises and supports the students during their placement. You must be at least 18 years old and pass an admissions test that has been approved by the superintendent.

  1. If English is your second language, you may be asked to show proof of one or more of the following:
    1.1) Your score on a recognised English proficiency test (e.g., Duolingo English, IELTS 5.5); 
    1.2) Official proof of a degree from a recognised higher education institution where English is the language of instruction; 
    1.3) Successful completion of other recognised English preparation courses where students have demonstrated an equivalent to a 5.5 IELTS score or better.
    1.4) Achieve a minimum mark of 60% in each course

Work Placements

If you're a Mentora College student, you'll complete a 384-hour work placement during your final semester. Although it is essential in order to receive your advanced diploma, we have never heard a student complain about it! Work placements are with companies in the Toronto area that are interested in learning more about what you learned in school. You can work toward a diploma on the same campus in downtown Toronto once you finish your English studies!

Students should book their lodgings well in advance of their arrival, since all available accommodations fill up rapidly, especially before the semester begins.

Off-campus rental housing options include single homes, duplexes, apartments, and rooms for rent in the surrounding region. Students who choose to live off-campus must conduct their own research and arrive well before the start of the semester to do so.
