  • Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) or Memorial University is the only university in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. This multidisciplinary, multi-campus, public, research/teaching university is present at four campus locations and one of them is the Grenfell campus.
  •  The Grenfell campus of Memorial University of Newfoundland is a small, interdisciplinary campus providing graduate programming in science and arts and undergraduate degrees in business, science, fine arts, arts, nursing, and resources management. 
  • To name a few degrees offered at this institute, it includes Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Master of Fine Arts, Master of Arts, and many more. This 185-acre campus site houses around 1300 student population. The several schools featured on this campus are School of Fine Arts, School of Science and the Environment, Western Regional School of Nursing and School of Arts and Social Science.

You must have graduated from a recognised university preparatory programme with approved senior level courses in five subject areas, which often include:

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Language, whether modern or classical, or laboratory science
  • Social Science 
  • Elective

 

A minimum grade requirement :

 

  • A minimum overall grade of 50% in the essential subject areas is required. This is usually comparable to no more than two grades below 50% and a "pass" in each of the five academic areas.

IELTSA minimum overall band score of 6.5 on the IELTS Academic or IELTS Indicator, with at least a band 6 in reading and writing.
TOEFL (i-BT)A minimum score of 79 on the TOEFL i-BT or TOEFL i-BT Home Edition, with a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing, and not less than 17 in listening and speaking.
PTE AcademicA minimum score of 58 in each of the reading, writing, listening and speaking components of the PTE is required.
CAEA minimum score of 176 in C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency.
CAELMinimum band scores between 50 and 60 in each of the four skills tested (reading, writing, listening and speaking), with at least two band scores of 60.
DETA minimum score of 115.
CanTestMinimum band scores of 4.5 in the listening comprehension and reading comprehension subtests and a score of 4 in writing are required on the CanTest.
