Great Plains College - Warman Campus, located in Western Saskatchewan, offers a wide range of courses, post-secondary diplomas, certificate programs, etc. It offers a six-week heavy equipment operator program that enables students to get first-hand experience about different field projects and training.
It is the first regional college in Saskatchewan to come up with a health and dental plan for its students and also powerful scholarship programs for them. Additionally, a mental health and wellness program is also linked with this in order to help students acquire a positive approach while studying.
Apart from academic life, students also get to remain involved in several campus events. The college hosts one event every three days, and the student association comprising hard-working students are in charge of hosting them.
Besides on-campus programmes, students can also take part in the Olympic torch relay, community tree plantings, Halloween costume and ugly sweater contests, fundraising auctions, etc. during their course duration. Students who are interested in extra-curricular activities can get involved with the Sun Dogs Athletics program.
