The Gander Campus of The College of the North Atlantic is located in central Newfoundland. The Public College is among the best post-secondary and education skills training institutions. The College offers a vast range of programs for various certificates and diploma courses. The College of the North Atlantic courses is diverse, focusing on different study areas.
The University comprises 17 campus locations spread over the Labrador and Newfoundland provinces of Atlantic Canada. The student-faculty ratio is 4:1, with 700+ faculties and 7939 students.
They provide several programs at undergraduate, postgraduate, associate and doctoral levels. The courses are offered to the students at some of the lowest tuition fees among all the other colleges in Atlanta, Canada. The students can benefit from many non-academic services and on-campus resources like a library, cafeteria, career counselling and guidance, a Career Exploration Centre, Student Services Office, Student Development Officer, and an active Student Council.
The University has a total enrollment of 25,000 students. Among them, total full-time enrollment is 7,939; part-time enrollment is 1,510; and registration in continuing education is 11,754 students.
Along with that, the annual acceptance rate of the University is 65%, and the number of international students is 3500. The Gander Campus offers several scholarships. These include the Glenn Mesh Memorial Award, Shane Gallant Memorial Entrance Scholarship, CICan Paul and Gerri Charette Bursary, A. Harvey Group of Companies Entrance Scholarships, Greg O'Keefe Memorial Award, and Helen Hooper Award.
