Incorporated in 1975 in Terrace in British Columbia, Coast Mountain College is an accredited post-secondary institute. Previously known as Northwest Community College (NWCC), this institution boasts five campuses serving 34 communities.
The campus longhouse is present at the southern end of this Terrace campus.
It is primarily utilized for cultural and student-centered activities. Additionally, it also hosts several events throughout the year. The First Nations Fine Arts program is one of its kind in Canada and takes place at the Freda Diesing studio. In this program, artists focus on the northern style of West Coast First Nations art.
