Established in the 1960s, CDI College in Canada is a private, for-profit institution specializing in career-oriented programs. There are over 23 campuses across the Canadian provinces of Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Alberta; the Vancouver campus, Calgary North campus, Winnipeg campus, Laval campus, etc.
It offers over 100 diploma and certificate programs in eight study areas: business, dental, healthcare, technology, and trades. Some courses include Social Media Management, Graphic Design, Paralegal Technology, and Early Childhood Education.
Those looking for a more flexible program can apply for CDI College online courses (often hybrids) such as Law Enforcement Foundations, Education Assistant, Pharmacy Assistant, and Hospitality Management. Through the BCIT and Yorkville University Pathway programs, students can start at CDI College and then apply for programs at the two institutes to prepare for a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
More than 85% of CDI College's graduating students immediately find employment. There is also an option to take up part-time work at CDI College; some posts are Assistant Campus Director, Student Financial Planner, and Personal Support Worker Instructor.

The CDI College offers job placement assistance to all its students. Some of the programs include practicum placements for the students, which allows them to explore the industry skills through an on job training option.

Each year around 1000 students graduate from CDI College - Montreal. Around 86.3 percent of the students for ACS programs get placement, and approximately 92.7 percent of students get employed for Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) programs. Around 500 CDI College graduates are working in the province of Montreal itself.

On-campus Accommodation at CDI College - Montreal

CDI College - Montreal does not offer on-campus housing facilities in Canada. Since there are no on-campus accommodation options, students can live off-campus in Canada. Some of the off-campus facilities are-

1. Homestays - Homestay refers to a cultural exchange between a visiting international student and a local family or individual known as a “Homestay Host” in exchange for a weekly fee.

2. Hostels - Hostels provide a supervised, friendly, and safe environment for students. Many hostels also provide meal options.

3. Shared Apartments or Rooms - Shared Accommodation allows students to share a room, apartment, or house and divide the rent among themselves.

4. Private accommodation - Studio rooms like one-bedroom apartments are very popular among the students as they are less expensive compared to the rent of larger apartments or houses.
