Kennesaw State University

Kennesaw State Institution was formed in 1963 by the Georgia Board of Regents utilising local bonds and a federal space grant. It is a public research university. The institution has two main campuses in the Atlanta metropolitan region, one in Kennesaw and the other in Marietta, and is situated in the U.S. state of Georgia. The university provides 52 bachelor's degrees, 21 master's degree programmes, one specialised degree, and five doctoral programmes for 80 undergraduate and graduates degrees. The institution is split into 13 colleges.

According to US News & World Report's National University Ranking for 2021, Kennesaw State University is rated 298 overall. Before this, the university was ranked 230 for 2018 and 2019 and 293 for 2020. Over time, the university's rating criteria have slipped. In addition to other rating factors, the US News & World Report bases its rankings on the number of publications cited, global research reputation, and regional research reputation (12.5% each).

According to US News & World Report's Subject Ranking for 2021, the university's UG Business programme has been placed 132. This is an improvement over its prior rating of 147 for the years 2018 and 2019. The approach used by US News & World Report to rank subjects includes, among other things, considerations such as student selection (25%), the views of business school administrators (25%), and employment outcome (21%).
