Alabama, in the United States, is home to Auburn, a public research institution. It is the second-largest university in Alabama and one of the two publicly funded flagship institutions for the state. It has continually kept its position as one of the top ranked services. Between 2017 and 2020, Auburn was ranked by ARWU (Shanghai Ranking) between 501 and 600, and by THE (Times Higher Education) between 601 and 800. In the QS World University Ranking, Auburn dropped from position 701-750 in 2017 to position 801-1000 in 2018. It has been ranked by QS between 801 and 1000 since this year. As a result, the university has mostly maintained consistency across all rating criteria, including teaching, research, and global perspective.

Auburn has majors and degree programmes at the undergraduate and graduate levels in a number of different fields. Auburn University's business programmes are well-liked by the companies that issue rankings. Bloomberg listed it among the 100 best b - schools in the US for both 2018 and 2019. In a similar vein, it is among the top 100 undergraduate and graduate business programmes in the US according to US News & World Report.

 

Numerous engineering programmes provided by the institution have been listed by US News & World Report among the top 100 in the country for 2021. The PG Engineering and Technology ranking of Auburn has significantly increased. In 2020, it was listed between 401 and 500, but in 2021, it was moved to 301 to 400. Additionally, US News has ranked Auburn's Computer Engineering programme at 69th place for 2021.
