An important plant in my country is the neem plant. It is mainly found around in all the gardens in our country as well as homes. Most people love to grow it in their balconies as well as their terraces. It is a very important plant for our culture because people consider it very holy as it has a lot of medicinal values. People use it when they fall ill on a lot of natural Ayurvedic treatments and which is why it is abundantly present in most areas of our country. It is also something that can be easily grown and without much effort which is why a lot of people would prefer to keep growing it and requires minimal effort as well. you

India has a lot of plants and trees which are significant in our culture and medical exposure wise, but I would like to talk about two trees which are neem and mango. Firstly, let's talk about neem. Neem has tremendous use. It has various medicinal properties as well as it has ecological benefits. It can be seen on road sides, in fields, everywhere. Neem is abundant in India. Moreover, it is also used in agriculture. The seeds of neem tree are used for insecticide spray, it has been used for manure to incorporate in soil and it works wonderfully. Therefore, neem has been very significant in our culture and is also used on festivals and it can be used for treatment of a very well-known disease known as chicken pox. Also, after this I would like to talk about mango. Mango is called king of the fruits in our country and it is the most delicious fruit and it is my favorite also. Although we have lost many of the old mango orchards because people are now starting to commercialize their agricultural land, this is very heartbreaking. Though mango serves the best shed for all the animals, birds and humans, it is the pleasure to sleep under the mango tree's shed. Therefore, I think that we should protect this kind of trees and plant more as we can. Thus, I would like to conclude with mango and neem are culturally and ecologically significant in Indian culture and can be used in each and everything. Leaves of mango, neem are used for medicinal properties incorporated in soaps and cosmetics for better skin care. So, these are the very important.

In my country there are a lot of plants which has a very big importance out of which I would talk about the banana plant or else plantations or plantains. Plantains are there present almost everywhere in all the houses. It looks like a mini tree with leaves which are looking like branches. It has a lot of importance in everyday households. Its leaf can be used as an alternative for the plates for eating food. I used to take these banana leaves for wrapping up my food when I was studying in school or college. Furthermore we use the banana fruit that is the plantain to cook a variety of dishes. Also the ripe plantain is so tasty to eat. Then we use the stem of the banana plant to make other dishes. Also the flower of the banana plant is also considered as a vegetable. Also furthermore the banana plant is having a very high nutritional value. It requires a less amount of water so it is easy to maintain and grow the plantain.

An important plant in our country is Tulsi, basically the basil leaves what you call. It's very holy and we treat it equal to Goddess. According to the history and mythological things, Tulsi is considered as mother of Shri Krishna. So we, you can see Tulsi plant in everybody's house, everyone worships it. They put the Diya and everything, they put flowers. An important plant in our country is Tulsi. It's very small plant and unlike the other ones, it's grown in a separate one, made up of basically the porcelain material part. And it's in yellow in color with red marks all over it, the swastika and Om and all. It's very religious and we consider it equal to Goddess. How we worship an idol's frame or an idol's sculpture, in the same way we worship Tulsi Maa. The plant is considered also for some of the medicines. When anyone is suffering from sore throat or anything like that, boiling of Tulsi leaves in the hot water just gives them an instant relief.

Now Tulsi is found in the front yard of almost every household in India. It is a tradition to plant this tree in the front of your houses to keep away negative energies from your home. Tulsi has a number of medicinal advantages. It helps in digestion. If you take one leaf everyday after your meal, it will help you in your digestion. Now Tulsi is a very small plant with miniscule leaves. It is easy to grow and maintain. And mostly the female of the household, they water the plants every morning and do a pooja which is you could say a worship of the plant when the sun rises. This is a practice that have been going on since the ancient times and will be continuing as long as people believe in the cultural and medicinal importance of this plant. Tulsi also acts as a mouth freshener. So whenever you have bad breath, you could have one leaf of Tulsi and you will smell good. There are multiple different forms of Tulsi and species of Tulsi but one of the most common species here in India.

After all, Indians tend to see God in every animal and every plant but apart from that, I think Tulsi has also many medicinal properties which can cure different kinds of diseases like common cough and it's also used in treating asthma. Asthma, when I was a child, we used to have a Tulsi tree and even we have now but when I was a child, my mom used to explain me about the spiritual importance of Tulsi tree and asked me to worship the tree for good things to happen in my life. Later, when I grown up, I have also discovered many medicinal features of Tulsi and that fascinated me very much about the plant.
