University Ranking

Leading public research university The University of Queensland, sometimes known as Queensland University, is headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is renowned for upholding strict standards for both research and instruction. It is included among the top 100 universities in the world by all the major ranking services. Additionally, it has improved its standing on the world stage. It was placed 46th for the current year and 51st in 2017 by QS (Top Universities). Additionally, it has improved its position in US News and World Report rankings.

It held the 42nd position in 2018 and the 36th position in 2021. Queensland has been ranked second nationally by the Australian Research Council, a research management project of the Australian Rudd administration. Queensland is a founding member of the prestigious Universitas 21 global network, the highly regarded Group of Eight in Australia, and the edX, a renowned online education platform founded by MIT and Harvard. Despite having a 40% acceptance rate, it is quite tough to get into Queensland, and only applicants with top academic standing will succeed.

Course Ranking

Queensland University is renowned for its business programmes, and over the past five years, it has enhanced its standing among academics and educators. This can also be examined in terms of ranks. In 2018, QS Global MBA ranked it between 111 and 120th; in 2021, it was ranked at number 99. Similar improvements have been made in its Times Higher Education PG Business and Economics rankings, which have gone from 76th in 2018 to 41st in 2021. Major ranking services have decreased Queensland's standing for engineering programmes.

It was ranked 60th in 2017 by QS Engineering and Technology, however in 2020 it will be ranked 76th. Additionally, its standing has dropped from 73rd in 2018 to 88th in 2021. The same is true of its computer programmes; THE's PG Computers rankings fell from 101 to 125 in 2018 to 126 to 150 in 2021. Queensland, however, gives students a lifetime learning experience with a student-faculty ratio of 13:1. Candidates who wish to study in Australia but still have reservations about admittance are encouraged to read this and get the solutions to their questions.
