  • Established in 1967, the University of Canberra is a public institute in Canberra, Australia, with six faculties: Health, Science and Technology, Arts and Design, Business, Government and Law, and Education. 
  • It offers over 200 undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs in disciplines like Design Strategies, Politics and International Relations, Sport Management and Journalism. Besides Canberra, the University of Canberra has campuses in Melbourne, Sydney and Queensland. 
  • The library, located in Building 8, houses numerous collections, books, journals, articles, archives and e-publications that students can access. There are different research centers and institutes on campus like the Institute for Applied Ecology, Centre for Sustainable Communities and The News and Media Research Centre.

Data Analytics Fundamentals, Digital Marketing Strategy and Salesforce Administrator are some of the short UC Pro courses which allow students to get job-ready. 
  • Through the University of Canberra's virtual campus, students get to attend online classes, interact with professors and peers, access academic resources and more. Furthermore, the university's study abroad program allows students to spend a semester or two at one of its 50 partner institutions worldwide, participate in exchanges, study tours, international internships and short programs.
  •  Financial aid options available to the students include scholarships, bursaries, loans and grants like HECS-HELP loans, Canberra Indigenous Scholarship, Lorna May Award, Real Futures Grant etc. With over 2,500 beds, the University of Canberra provides student accommodation in studios, apartments, and unsuited /shared rooms at residences like Cooper Lodge, UC Lodge, Campus West and others. 
  • Students can find accommodation by renting a house or an apartment, living with flat mates or through the Australian Homestay Network. There are over 70 clubs engaged in academic, political, sports, cultural and other activities. Fitness facilities on campus include the Sport and Fitness Centre, courts and ovals. Graduates earn an average annual salary of AUD 59,000 to AUD 82,330.
